Privacy Policy

As the operator of this website, we take protecting your personal data very seriously. We keep your personal data confidential and comply with data protection laws.

1. Data processing

We process your personal data as follows:

Server log files

The operator of the website automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us. These primarily include:

  • browser type and version
  • operating system used
  • referrer URL (originator address)
  • host name of the accessing computer
  • date and time of the server request
  • IP address

This data is not merged with other data sources.

The legal basis for the data processing is Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR, which allows the processing of data in the legitimate interests of the controller. In this case the controller has a legitimate interest in the secure and error-free operation of the web server. In order to guarantee these things, the administration needs to be able to recognise and trace attacks and system malfunctions via the server log files. To recognise attack patterns, server accesses must be stored. This data is deleted as soon as it is no longer required. For technical reasons, the data is disclosed to the hosting service provider, who is, however, subject to our instruction and bound by contractual obligation to us.

Contact form

When you submit enquiries using the contact form, we store your information from the contact form for the purpose of processing the enquiry and in the event of follow-up questions.
Mandatory fields are marked accordingly. The mandatory fields must be completed so that we can respond to and process your enquiries. All other information is voluntary.
The data entered in the contact form is solely processed based on your consent (Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR). You can withdraw this consent at any time. A withdrawal is only valid with future effect.
Your data is never shared with third parties without your consent or another legal basis.
The data from the contact form is stored by us until you request that we erase it, you withdraw your consent to storage or the purpose of the data storage no longer applies (e.g. after the processing of your enquiry has been completed). Mandatory legal provisions – in particular retention periods – remain unaffected.

Cookies

Some parts of our website use cookies. Cookies make our website more user-friendly, more effective and more secure. Cookies are small text files which are saved to your computer and stored by your browser.
Most of the cookies we use are so-called “session cookies”. They are automatically deleted after your session ends. Other cookies remain stored on your device until you delete them. These cookies allow us to recognise your browser the next time you visit our website.
You can configure your browser to notify you before cookies are added and to allow cookies only in specific cases, to block specific or all cookies, and to automatically delete cookies when closing the browser. Blocking cookies can limit the functionality of this website.
Cookies required for electronic communication processes or to provide specific functions which you have requested are stored on the basis of Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR. We have a legitimate interest in the storage of cookies for the technically faultless and optimised provision of services. Any other cookies (e.g. cookies for analysing your surfing behaviour) stored are addressed separately in this privacy policy.

Google Analytics

This website use Google Analytics, a web analysis service provided by Google LLC (‘Google’). Information is collected regarding your use of the website, including browser type and version, operating system used, referrer URL (previously visited site), IP address or date/time of the request.
Google Analytics uses so-called “cookies”, text files which are stored on your computer and enable the analysis of your use of the website. The information generated by the cookies about your use of this website is typically transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. As IP anonymisation is activated on this website, your IP address is first truncated by Google within member states of the European Union or in other states party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area and is only transmitted once it has been anonymised. The complete IP address is only transmitted to a Google server in the USA and truncated there in exceptional cases.
Google will use this information on behalf of the operator of this website to analyse your use of the website, generate reports on website activities and to provide the operator of the website with additional services related to the website and internet use.
These purposes also constitute our legitimate interest in data processing. The legal basis for the application of Google Analytics is Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR and § 15(3) of the German Telemedia Act (TMG). The data transmitted by us related to cookies, user identifiers (e.g. user ID) or advertising IDs is automatically erased after 14 months. Data is automatically erased once a month at the end of the retention period.

You can configure your browser software to block the storage of the cookies; however, please note that you may not be able to make full use of all functions of this website in this case.
You can further prevent Google from collecting the data generated by the cookies and relating to your use of the website (including your IP address) as well as the processing of this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plugin available under the following link.

The link is: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout

Alternatively you can prevent collection by Google Analytics in specific cases by clicking on the following link. This will place an opt-out cookie, which prevents the future collection of your data when visiting this website: <a href= „javascript:gaOptout(); alert,‘You have successfully disabled Google Analytics’);”> Disable Google Analytics </a>.

Google Maps

This website uses Google Maps and its API to display interactive maps and to create route descriptions. Google Maps is a map service of Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Irland). When using Google Maps, information regarding the use of this website, including your IP address and, where applicable, the (starting) address entered in the directions function, is transferred to Google in the USA.
When visiting one of our websites which contains Google Maps, your browser establishes a direct connection with the Google servers. The content of the map is transmitted directly to your browser by Google and incorporated into the web page by Google. Therefore we have no influence over the extent of the data collected by Google in this way. Based on our current knowledge, this will include at least the following data:

  • date and time of the visit to the respective website
  • internet address or URL of the website accessed,
  • IP address,
  • (starting) address entered in the directions.

We have no influence over the further processing and use of the data by Google and can therefore assume no responsibility for this.

If you do not want Google to collect, process or use your data about you through our website, you can disable JavaScript in your browser settings. However, this means that you cannot use the map function.

For the purpose and scope of the data collection and further processing and use of the data by Google, as well as your related rights and configuration options to protect your privacy, please refer to the Google privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=de.
